Workplace Violence: How to Manage Anger and Violence in the Workplace

Sometimes there are warning signs of workplace violence, but this is not always the case. It is up to us to learn whatever we can to prevent, identify, and mitigate any threats, and this comprehensive workshop includes everything workplace leaders need to get started. Topics included are: the definition of workplace violence, communication skills, issue resolution using a problem-solving model, managing anger, and establishing policies and procedures to help people work well together. For those times when violence does occur, participants will understand the value of a systematic approach to incident response, and how to proceed with the next steps.
